Keith Richards, born 1943, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and founder member of the English rock band the Rolling Stones. In the 2003 Rolling Stone Magazine Richards is ranked no. 10 on the list of 100 best guitarists in the world. Fourteen of the songs Richards wrote with the Rolling Stones’ lead vocalist Mick Jagger are listed among Rolling Stone Magazine’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”.
